Jay R is about 1 1/2 years old. He
was hit by a car on Rt. 206 and suffered a fractured
pelvis. He has had an uneventful recovery and no one has
come to claim him so he is up for adoption. Jay R is a
very goofy boy who delights in play. He is quite
flirtatious with the ladies and prefers women to men.
Jay R has a fear of men though we are working on this by
having our male employees speak softly to him and feed
him. Jay R loves other dogs and enjoys interacting with
them. Jay R seeks a home where he is well exercised and
can be involved with games and toys.
I'm the shelter's longest resident
Please take me home.
Please???
My name is 'Lil Kitty. I don't know why they gave
me this name. I'm not so little. I could use some
excercise and I would be smaller. It's hard to get any
excercise in this little cage. And I can't come out a
lot because there are too many cats at the shelter and
not enough room. Do you have room for me? I'm not much
trouble at all. I love to be pet and I will purr for
you. Come on down & check out my pretty stripes! PS: I'm
currently the longest adoption room resident. I think
that means it's my turn to go home real soon!

Since the summer months, we've been overflowing
with cats and kittens and the shelter can use foster
help almost on a constant basis. The need is urgent, so
If you have a small spare room or any space that you
could temporarily care for a litter, an adult, or a cat
who has to recover from some sniffles, please contact
us! The cats will do better in a home environment and be
ready for adoption faster than wallowing in a cage
waiting for a space to open up in the adoption room. It
can be a very rewarding experience. If you would like to
foster please call 908-725-0308 or email srasmanager@aol.com
